Responsibilities

  • Support Calgary based sales team with technical expertise and product application.
  • Ability to verify customer designs.  Solid background in dealing with wood products.
  • Work collaboratively with manager and sales team to meet sales targets.
  • Knowledge in overall sales process, preparing for customer calls, anticipating and understanding individual customer needs while resolving customer issues.
  • Communicating the features, benefits and advantages of products to end user.
  • With software, designs prototypes for customer review.  Suggestions & options available.  
  • Communicates orders with logistics.  Ensures on time product delivery.  Follow up with customers post-delivery.
  • Ability to identify potential growth opportunities within existing accounts and territory
Reports to the Sales Manager.
Full time 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.  Overtime may be required.  Availability to work Tradeshows as needed.

Additional Description

In collaboration with customers, design wood products to meet customer specifications. 50% of this role is focused on high volume pallet sales. This person is accountable for servicing and managing existing accounts and identifying new business relationships throughout Northern Alberta.
